As we return to campus we will do so in a way that allows us to reimagine and expand upon our academic and socio-emotional supports for our students. One way we will do that is through the use of The Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER). These federal funds are a one-time, multi-year supplementary disbursement designed to assist schools with safe reopening and student learning and socio-emotional needs in the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. KIPP Columbus’s Return, Recover and Reimagine Plan prioritizes: health and safety, affirming spaces and socio-emotional supports, extended learning time, and early literacy as the foundation of these critical investments. We are seeking input from our broad KIPP Columbus community on how we might invest these funds within our key priorities through THIS SURVEY. Thank you for your thoughts and input as we work together to reimagine our schools with a greater lens of excellence, joy, and anti-racism.
