After School Programs Overview

Our after school program is an extension of the school day that provides academic and enrichment programming for students.

Grades K – 1: After School Program by Kiddie Academy

Kiddie Academy offers academic support and intervention, a healthy dinner, and student activity groups daily in their after-school and extension programming.

PLEASE NOTE: This program has a FEE for students to participate that families are responsible for.

Grades 2 – 8: KIPP Connect by the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus (BGCC) and After School All Stars (ASAS)

The BGCC and ASAS provide specific programming around academic tutoring and support, character education, and club programming geared towards a variety of student interests, the arts, and athletic activities. A healthy dinner is also provided during the program. This programming is FREE to families.

Grades 7-11 : Clubs and Athletics

KIPP provides access to a variety of athletics offerings and clubs geared towards students passions and interests. These clubs and opportunities are provided by KIPP Columbus staff members and change throughout the year.

KIPP Students

Early Learning Center

Kiddie Academy operates an Early Learning Center at KIPP Columbus Primary. There are multiple distinct developmental tracks for infants (with two groups from 6 weeks to 12 months and 12 months to 24 months), toddlers (2 years to 3 years), preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms for 3 and 4-year-olds. The program uses a variety of programs, curricula, and strategies to help students develop social and emotional skills necessary for success in Kindergarten and beyond.
